The Human Resources Department is responsible for the recruitment, hiring, and assignment of all employees of the District, with the approval of the Superintendent and the Board of Education. Notice for paraprofessional positions: All paraprofessional candidates must hold an Illinois license- PEL, substitute teacher, or paraprofessional. The Kane County Regional Office of Education has updated the Paraprofessional License requirements. Non-qualified candidates can apply for a Short-Term Approval license that will allow them to work and be valid for three years. The requirement is now a high school diploma or its equivalent.
