Partners in Achievement
At Batavia Public School District 101, we are committed to the success of your student, and we know that family involvement in the learning process is crucial for them to achieve to their highest potential. Research shows the positive benefits when parents take an active interest in their child’s education.
There are a variety of ways to get involved in your child’s education, and we want to help parents connect with the District in impactful ways. For this reason, we have created a new communication feature titled “Partners in Achievement.”
When you see the “Partners in Achievement” phrase in a message from the District, your school, or your child’s teacher, we are highlighting an opportunity for you to learn about or get involved in an aspect of our District related to achievement. Our mission, “Always Learning. Always Growing.” applies to not only the students and staff, but it also applies to you.
We hope that you take the time to read, attend programs, and use the resources below that we are highlighting:
- Interpreting MAP Scores: helps parents become more familiar with MAP testing and their child’s MAP results.
- Getting the Most Out of PowerSchool: FAQs to help you fully understand all of this powerful tool’s features designed to track your child’s academic progress.
- Parent Guide to MTSS
- IAR Parent Portal: A Parent’s guide to the Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR) assessment that includes student score reports and videos of Individual Student Reports.
