Batavia
Public Schools is a K-12 Community Unit District that serves eight attendance
centers. Batavia, Illinois, is
located 40 miles west of Chicago in a growing suburban area.
There are three categories of employment with Batavia Public Schools. Determine which category of employment is appropriate for you and follow the corresponding link:
| 1) | Certified Positions - consist of positions for which Illinois State teaching certificates are required, i.e., teachers, LRC directors, psychologists, social workers & counselors. Vacancy, employment and application information for certified positions is available only through the Kane County Human Resources Consortium. |
| 2) | Administrative
Positions - consist of 10 and 12 month administrative
positions. Such positions include district office administrative,
principal, assistant principal and dean of students positions.
Building administrative positions require a Type 75 Administrative
